All FLPs old and new editions have a lot of room on the right margin Volume 2 book this Volume 2 book nothing new. The Feynman Tapes an annotated edition of FLP there would be room to discuss relevant things that have happened in physics afterwhen FLP was published, but that would not be the emphasis.
It is a must for any Physics or EE. If there's anything Richard Feynman still thrives up to this day, is teaching Physics and making people love it, and this set of books is a big part of that. This especially applies to the Commemorative Edition and the Definitive Edition, which I have seen copies of in libraries and are both easy to read.
I don't know why the price has gone up. It appears simple: heavily conceptual, few equations, no homework problems at the end of each chapter. It's complete and wonderful.
